The tool that does
exactly what
you do

I build custom applications for businesses that do not fit the software on the market. You describe how you work, I build the tool that matches. Hosted on my server, maintained, and it belongs to you. I also look after the servers a business runs on.

Custom applications

Built around how you actually work

The situation is almost always the same: a spreadsheet that grew until nobody can manage it, or generic software where you use ten percent of the features and pay per user every month. I build the tool that matches what you actually do, nothing more.

What it can be

Case or job tracking, client portal, team scheduling, dashboard, internal catalogue, automation of a process still done by hand. A web application your team reaches from a browser, on any device.

You describe the need, I propose the shape

From 3,500 USD

Fixed price quoted in writing once I understand the need, with the scope spelled out. Two to three weeks for a tool of ordinary size. Half on start, half on delivery.

No hourly meter running

Hosting and upkeep: 120 USD per month

The tool runs on my server in Germany, encrypted and isolated from other clients. Daily backups, security updates, defect fixes. One hour of support included each month; beyond that my hourly rate applies.

New features and training billed separately

The tool is yours

Everything built for your project transfers to you on final payment: code, database, documentation. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, all of it goes with you. I keep only my pre-existing generic components, the ones I reuse from one project to the next.

Nothing locks you in

Your data stays separate. Each client has their own database and their own access. The server is hardened: key-only access, firewall closed by default, backups encrypted before they leave the machine. If you prefer the tool to run on your own server, that works too.

By trade

What it looks like in your line of work

The principle is the same everywhere, but the vocabulary and habits change. Here is what the tool becomes depending on the trade.

Electrical

Hours per job, cable and fittings tied in, real cost before invoicing.

Roofing and framing

Crews, materials and hours tracked per job, overrun visible halfway through.

Flooring

Wood, tile and resin tracked per job, materials assigned, real margin.

Stone and marble

Workshop and site tracked together, slabs and consumables assigned per job.

Pools

Construction and service contracts tracked together, materials assigned, real margin.

Your trade not on the list? The principle applies to any business tracking jobs, hours and materials. Tell me about your situation.

Services

What I take on

These are the jobs that come up most often. The underlying work is always the same: understand the system, build or fix the part that is missing, leave it documented well enough that someone else could take over. If what you need is not on this list, describe it anyway. I will tell you straight whether it is something I should be doing.

Server setup and deployment

From a bare VPS to your site or application running on your own domain over HTTPS, with certificates that renew themselves. Several projects on one machine without them interfering. Migrations from one host to another, with the downtime planned rather than discovered.

Ubuntu · Debian · Nginx · Let's Encrypt

Hardening an existing server

A machine already in production, brought up to standard. SSH on keys only, root login disabled, firewall closed by default, Fail2ban, and backups you have actually restored once instead of assumed. Audit first, then only the changes you approve.

Written report before anything changes

Private networks

WireGuard and OpenVPN configured so traffic cannot leak around the tunnel. DNS handled correctly, a kill switch that fails closed, and a verification report showing the setup holds under test.

Remote access · Site to site · Road warrior

Automation and AI tools

The script that replaces three hours of manual work every week. A language model wired into your workflow so incoming mail, documents or records get sorted, summarised and routed before anyone reads them. The internal tool that does not exist as a product because your situation is specific.

Python · Bash · LLM APIs

Maintenance

Keeping it running

Most of what takes a server down is not an attack. It is an expired certificate, a full disk, a backup nobody ever restored. Monthly maintenance is there so that does not happen.

Your data stays with you. That is the difference with a cloud service. The server is yours, in your name, at the host you chose. I do not put your business on a shared platform and I hold no copy of your data. Backups are encrypted before they leave the machine and you hold the key. If you stop working with me, nothing has to be moved and nothing has to be recovered from anyone.

Entry audit: 300 USD

A full review of the machine: security posture, missing patches, backup state, architecture, load. Written report with the fixes ranked by priority. Deducted in full from your first invoice if you sign a maintenance contract.

Written report · No changes without your approval

Maintenance and security: from 175 USD per month, per server

Continuous automated monitoring: uptime, load, disk. Security patches for the OS and critical packages. Encrypted daily backups to remote storage. Human response 07:00 to 19:00 CET, seven days a week. Two full restores per year included.

Standby server with failover: 105 USD/month plus the instance. During an outage your site runs temporarily on my machine, encrypted, and is wiped once you are back.

Work outside the contract: 120 USD per hour

95 USD per hour for clients under contract. Development, new software, migrations, anything beyond maintenance. Additional restores beyond the two included are billed at the same rate.

Quoted before the work starts

Larger setups

Multi-server infrastructure from 400 USD per month, quoted. High availability, clusters and negotiated response times, quoted after the audit.

Agencies and studios: white label by default, I stay behind your name. Multiple servers quoted together.

Your hosting account stays yours and in your name. Liability is limited to the fees paid over the last twelve months.

How I work

Terms, before you ask

I map the problem first
Before writing anything, I work out what your business actually does. Where the work comes in, where it stalls, what nobody is measuring. If the job is bigger than it first looked, you hear that from me before we start, not halfway through.
Fixed price, quoted before I start
Quoted in writing before I start, with what counts as finished spelled out. No hourly meter running while you wait. A custom application starts at 3,500 USD, a server job at 300 USD.
I never need your password
You add an SSH key for the duration of the job and remove it when we are done. Access ends when the work ends.
Written handover
Every change, every file path, every command. Another developer can verify the work or take it over without asking me anything. You are never locked to me.
Your work stays yours
Everything built for your project transfers to you on final payment: code, scripts, configuration, documentation. I keep only my pre-existing generic components, the ones I reuse from one project to the next, which contain nothing of your business. I keep no copies of your data.
Discretion by default
I do not name clients or publish work without written permission. If you would rather nobody knows you hired outside help, nobody will.
Remote
All of it, from Tbilisi. I work with clients in Europe and North America across time zones.

Proof of work

Software I built and sell

STEALTH Scan

A desktop security auditor for Windows and Linux. It checks a machine for the threats that steal cryptocurrency: clipboard hijackers that swap a pasted address, hidden stealers, fraudulent browser extensions, DNS leaks, and the state of the VPN and firewall. Everything runs locally. Nothing leaves the machine.

The SHA-256 of the download is published so a buyer can verify the file before running it. That is how I think about software, and it is the fastest way to judge my work before hiring me.

Delivered systems

  • An end to end encrypted operating system A bootable system for handling cryptocurrency. Full disk encryption, a VPN kill switch that fails closed rather than open, signed releases, and nothing written back to the machine it runs on. Eighteen months of work, from bootloader to signed release.
  • Web applications with persistent state and offline operation Data that survives a closed browser, timers that keep counting when the device sleeps, and full function without a connection. Deployed and maintained in production.
  • External API integration at scale Catalogue lookups, image retrieval and search across large datasets, with rate limits, failures and missing records handled rather than assumed away.
  • Multi-domain server infrastructure Several separate domains served from one hardened machine, each isolated, each with its own certificate that renews itself, with no interference between them.
